It will be an amazing gathering of thousands of BBQ enthusiasts at the breathtaking Law Enforcement Memorial in Tropical Park, Miami, Florida.
Establishing itself as the pinnacle of “Pig Roast Competitions” in the State of Florida, this event will determine who will be crowned the undisputed “Champions” of the South. Not only is it a thrilling contest, but it’s also a community-driven event that aims to support and honor all our law enforcement agencies. The South Florida Pig Roast Series is South Florida’s premier celebration of food, culture, heritage, and community. Created by Louis Fonseca Productions, The Pig Roast Command and Kiko Hospitality Group, this unique series brings together competitive pig roast teams, community leaders, first responders, military personnel, businesses, and families in a tradition rooted in camaraderie and service. At the heart of every event is the time-honored art of whole hog roasting. Teams spend hours mastering fire, smoke, seasoning, and techniques to produce perfectly roasted pigs with crispy skin, tender meat, and unforgettable flavor.
More than a competition, the Pig Roast Series honors generations of cultural traditions while showcasing the passion, dedication, and craftsmanship of the teams that participate. Beyond the roasting pits, the series serves as a community gathering where people from all backgrounds come together to enjoy great food, live entertainment, friendly competition, and meaningful connections. PIG ROAST BOWL SERIES FAQS
Do we need to provide plates, utensils, napkins or gloves for serving?
Do we have to bring a tent, table or chairs?
Are we allowed to bring additional people to help set up prior to 7AM?
Do helpers outside of the team have to purchase a ticket?
Will there be lighting or electricity available where we will be cooking?
Do we need to serve bread or side dishes like congri or yuca?
Providing sides is optional. The sides will onlv be given out to the festival guests and will not be judged with the pork.
